In 2010, we lost a dear friend, Adrian Edmonds. 

Adrian was one of the founding players of the Pride Basketball League NYC (PBLNYC).  

His smile and sense of sportsmanship helped make the organization welcoming and inviting for all of us. 

As a way to remember Adrian's contributions to the league, we will be naming our seasonal Sportsmanship Award in his honor. 

The Adrian Edmonds Sportsmanship Award will be presented every season to one player in each division. The person(s) receiving this award will demonstrate a great respect for their competitors and teammates, show an ability to accept victory and defeat graciously, and convey a high degree of humility and integrity. These are qualities that represented the kind of basketball player and the kind of person that we all knew Adrian to be.
